Beginning January 5, 2026, Kyle Martin starts an Of Counsel role for Rooney IP. Kyle is a registered patent attorney focusing his expertise on patent preparation and prosecution of U.S., international and foreign patent applications, including both utility and design patent applications. Additionally, he has expertise in enforcement, licensing, counseling, IP agreements, and prosecution strategy. Kyle’s patent practice is centered in mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies. He is also active in trademark procurement and enforcement, as well as copyright matters.
Kyle has extensive experience with agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, outdoor power equipment, vehicle components, HVAC systems, and high energy piping systems, medical devices as well as many other technologies.
In addition to being registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Kyle is a member of the Ohio Bar and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
