Diane Ruf

Diane’s career spans over 14 years in the field of Intellectual Property. Particularly, her expertise is in the areas patent and trademark docketing and other intellectual property paralegal work for a diverse array of clients. At Rooney IP, Diane coordinates complex legal document preparation, prepares and files patent and trademark applications and is involved in all phases of patent and trademark prosecution. She also provides paralegal support for the enforcement and defense of intellectual property rights, including all phases of pre-litigation activity and dispute resolution.

To assist with IP portfolio management for our clients, Diane prepares and provides reports ranging from patent and trademark portfolio status reports, maintenance and annuity reports, and substantive reports relating to due diligence and landscape reporting of intellectual property assets. Diane also regularly prepares intellectual property assignment agreements, and many other legal documents. As necessary, she attends to filing and recording such documents with various government bodies.
