As a patent attorney, Kyle J. Martin focuses his expertise on patent preparation and prosecution of U.S., international, and foreign patent applications, including both utility and design patent applications. Additionally, he has expertise in enforcement, licensing, counseling, IP agreements, and prosecution strategy. Kyle’s patent practice is centered in mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies. He is also active in trademark procurement and enforcement, as well as copyright matters. In addition to intellectual property law, Kyle practiced corporate law and real estate law before joining Rooney IP.
Kyle’s past experience includes positions as a civil engineer and a structural engineer in system design and implementation. Kyle also has extensive experience with agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, outdoor power equipment, vehicle components, HVAC systems, and high energy piping systems.
