Gopal focusses his expertise on all stages of patent litigation as well as licensing, enforcement, counseling, and strategic planning of patent portfolios. Gopal also assists in patent procurement and related due diligence work. His technological expertise includes electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical technologies in wide ranging areas including semiconductors, microcontrollers, home appliance/mobile device communication, machine learning, Bluetooth, medical devices, and high security access devices. Prior to joining Rooney IP, LLC, Gopal gained a wide variety of experience in the intellectual property field participating in all stages of patent litigation, patent prosecution, patent procurement, and general monetization of patent portfolios.
