Rooney IP Charitable Involvement

In 2020 Rooney IP donated to various charitable organizations close to the hearts of its team members and clients.  These organizations included:

The American Diabetes Association

Diabetes has afflicted a significant and growing percentage of Americans.  COVID-19 only exacerbated an already critical situation. Read more about the mission of the ADA on its website, as well as the devastating effects the pandemic has had and continues to have on those afflicted with diabetes.

The Primate Rescue Center

“The Primate Rescue Center is a nonprofit sanctuary in Nicholasville, KY providing lifetime care to nearly 50 primates, including a group of 9 chimpanzees and a variety of monkey species.  The mission of the Primate Rescue Center is to alleviate the suffering of primates wherever it occurs by:

  • Providing sanctuary or referral to appropriate facilities
  • Working to end the trade in primates both in the United States and abroad
  • Educating the public to the plight of primates caught in the breeder/dealer cycle
  • Assisting researchers and zoo personnel in finding appropriate placement for surplus primates
  • Encouraging compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and animal welfare statutes”

“Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House is the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world! We offer a community of compassion, support and the comforts of home to families with critically ill children, steps away from the medical care they need. Our House will soon be able to care for 177 families every night, including parents, children receiving outpatient treatment, siblings and other family members. By easing the financial and emotional burdens of caregivers and by taking care of important practical needs, our House allows parents to focus entirely on caring for their children.”

The Ohio State Bar Association Giving Campaign, Ohio Association of Food Banks

“Together, the OSBA and our amazing membership have helped hundreds of Ohio families experiencing food insecurity by donating to the Ohio Association of Food Banks.

However, the need is great, and we still need your help. If you haven’t done so, please consider making a donation to help bring a sense of security to families across Ohio.
