Recently, Eric Bartlam participated as a mentor at the DAV Patriot Boot Camp held at the DAV headquarters in Erlanger, KY. DAV Patriot Boot Camp is a transformative program that empowers business owners in the veteran and military community, including spouses, with free entrepreneurship education, one-on-one mentorship with leading business experts, access to resources, and a vital community committed to their successes. The DAV Patriot Boot Camp program consists of three-day events held throughout the year that also include networking opportunities and a pitch competition with thousands of dollars in non-dilutive funds available. Through DAV Patriot Boot Camp events, participants become a part of a community of founders, veterans, spouses, mentors, investors and supporters dedicated to their long-term success.
During the workshop, Eric spoke with inventors and entrepreneurs about their specific businesses and generally about intellectual property, including patents and trademarks. Eric was happy to be part of this event which gave him an opportunity to share his knowledge and expertise in intellectual property with his fellow veterans and their spouses.
